Thabani Nomvalo is an SME and Project Finance professional who has been involved in infrastructure projects in the energy and power sectors, health and PPP projects. His expertise spans from debt origination, due diligence, financial structuring, financial modeling and negotiating complex project finance transactions. He also have more than 5 years’ experience in financing small to medium enterprises gained during his time at the National Empowerment Fund and later at the Umsobomvu Youth Fund. This was mainly in sectors such as Transport, Food Franchising, Financial Services (Accounting and Auditing), Clothing retail, Health Services and others. Nomvalo holds a B.com Honours degree from the University of South Africa as well as an MSc degree in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London. He has also completed the Higher Diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg.
